From New York City, Manhattan and Northern New Jersey: Take New York State Thruway (I-87) North to Exit 16 HarrimanProceed onto Route 17(86) West to Exit 104 going west on Route 17B Travel approx. 10 mi and turn right onto Hurd Road at the Bethel Woods sign

By Air:
Stewart International Airport is approx 57 miles from Bethel Woods Center for the Arts. Travel time approximately 1 hour 8 minutes. Make a right out of the airport onto Route 747 and take I-84 West.
Follow I-84 West to Exit 4W toward Route 17 (I-86) West. Take exit 104 onto Route 17B West. Travel approximately 10 miles and turn right onto Hurd Road at the Bethel Woods sign.
Public Transportation:
Bus service is provided by Coach USA/Shortline from Port Authority to Monticello, New York. It is approximately 10 miles from the Monticello bus station to Bethel Woods. Taxis are available. More info at www.shortlinebus.com.

The Museum is fully wheelchair accessible. Accessible parking is provided free of charge, and visitor drop-off is available in the circle in front of The Museum. A limited number of wheelchairs are available for mobility-impaired Museum visitors. Unless arrangements are made in advance, these wheelchairs are available on a first come, first serve basis.Movies are either closed-captioned or the script is made available for on-site use when visiting The Museum. Assisted listening devices for The Museum Theater are available upon request.

Bethel Woods is a non-smoking facility.While children of all ages are welcome, children ages 12 and older will gain the most from the exhibits, which often include text panels and interactive displays.
Please refrain from consuming food and beverages inside the Museum.

The Museum at Bethel Woods is an immersive and captivating multi-media experience that combines film and interactive displays, text panels and artifacts to explore the unique experience of the Woodstock festival, its significance as the culminating event of a decade of radical cultural transformation, and the legacy of the Sixties and Woodstock today.

Museum tickets sell out early. To avoid disappointment, please purchase museum tickets in advance.
On Bethel Woods Center for the Arts Pavilion Stage event days, tickets for museum admission after 1:00 p.m. are limited to concert attendees only and may be purchased with concert tickets.
