The Moving Sidewalks Tickets

the show was cool, fairly well rehearsed (not to be taken for granted with reunion shows). sounded a bit like zz top with an organ, which is what one would expect. but they did just about everything the original band recorded. audio was fairly clear, but not very loud. the bb king club staff were pretty horrible, very pushy, very rude. the VIP meet and greet was a sham, more rudeness. basically stood in a crowd of angry VIPs waiting for nothing... if a band was playing anywhere else, i'd go there instead, really kinda ruined the experience for me.

show was... meh - zero chemistry between band members. and i would comment that the drummer seemed disconnected from the show, i mean its an intimate venue, and at least look like you wanted to be there. if it wasn't for BFG, i would rate it -1 stars

Cool evening with a cool band, where Mr. Gibbons himself was the main attraction.

As long as you went in not expecting a ZZ Top show, how could you not have enjoyed that. The band was great but its all about Billy. He's the best. It almost made the warm beer tolerable.

The very fact that The Moving Sidewalks reformed is enough reason to rave. The fact that the musicianship was up to par is even more reason to rave. The only problem with the show is the same problem with all the shows at BB King's in NYC..... the sound they get is less than desirable. Please BBs - do something about it. Every band that plays deserves to get a good sound out front, otherwise it can reflect poorly on the band and it isn't there fault.

Magical evening where once again the British Invasion met Texas blues!! Toss in some Jimi Hendrix and Billy Gibbons and there you have it!

This band sounded like a bunch of 8th graders jamming at a BBQ. Billy Gibbons must have owed them a favor, as they needed someone with a name to draw a crowd (wouldn't even have gotten booked if he wasn't there). Bass player dominated the mix and drowned out everyone. Gibbons didn't hold any interest for us, and we left after 4 songs. He played real simple pentatonic crappy riffs that anyone could beat after playing the guitar a year. His tone was dark, murky & undefined. Worst guitarist I've ever seen or heard live.

Texas Psych Legends, the Moving Sidewalks, rocked BB King's Club in Times Square! Billy Gibbons was in rare form and wailed out. The 'Sidewalks' big break was as the Opening Act for the Jimi Hendrix Experience in a Tour of Texas. The band repaid Jimi by playing several of his songs including Catfish Blues > If 6 Was 9. The band encored with their two hits: 99th Floor and baroque I Want to Hold Your Hand. Amazing show!

This is one of the best shows I ever saw. I was up close. Billy Gibbons played Joe Blues for me when I called it out. Tom Moore sounded so awesome on keys. The sound of the band was incredible and fantastic. I love this band.
