    Worth the money!!!

by U2POPGIRL on 6/29/15Lincoln Financial Field - Philadelphia

I took my 7 year old son this past weekend to see The Marvel Experience. We had an AWESOME time! You get a wristband at the beginning and go through the experience collecting squares for it. This is a must for Marvel fans! At the end of the experience there are lots of interactive games set up for both children and adults! My son and I had the best time ever! I'm so glad I got tickets for him!

great outing for young and "old"

by Tom723 on 5/14/15Del mar - San Diego

I have had the chance to go to this event in san Diego with friends and their kids. it was a great 2hours, kids were amazed, we were entertained, and it was not too expensive. I can't wait to see it in New York when I can take a group who all have kids who want to go.

    So much fun

by AZMarvelFan on 5/7/15Del Mar Fairgrounds - Del Mar

I attended all three of the first events. And while this is a new and innovative tour, they worked out some kinks, and the show got better each time. I can't wait to check this out on the East Coast!

when you cancel a show you should notify us

by betsywood on 3/16/15AT&T - San Francisco

I had 2 VIP tickets for Marvel Experience in San Francisco and never received notice that it was cancelled. The only reason I knew was because it showed up on my credit card as a refund with no explanation whatsoever. I made plans to fly down from Alaska a day early in order to attend this event and will now have to pay for an extra night in a hotel room. I tried all of the customer service numbers and never got thru. That is a lousy way to treat a paying customer.

    Awesome!

by wqeweqwrwqe on 2/22/15Del Mar - Del Mar

The experience was super cool for S.D. I think it is a very cool foreshadow into future potential of the 3-D simulation world. It is easy to enjoy and have a good time. If you're into marvel, you should be able to enjoy this than someone who isn't. It's all about that super hero feeling and taking that with you to the experience to have a good time fighting off the bad guys. Some activities are for kids, but for the most part, it is a nice experience for Friends and Family. I went by my self. Hahaha, I think I would have had a better time with my friends and family. But, I still did enjoy it. The whole perspective of what it took to get the whole stage set up, the domes and everything is really cool too by the way. It is a one of a kind thing I have never seen before. I only put I would not recommend this to a friend because none of my friends like the Comics or Super heros. If you're into it all, then it's worth going to check it out.

    Marvelous for families with kids

    by familyman33 on 2/8/15Fairgound - Dallas

family of 4 loved Marvel Exp. in Dallas. I thought it was very well priced, particularly given the fact we traveled only 13 miles to see Marvel! It took about 2 hours, waited only for the 3D shooting game, awesome, very worth 30 minutes wait. Overall, I was impressed.

Expect a lot of waiting, but still amusing.

by Gleek on 1/29/15Fair Park - Dallas

I'd only recommend this to a friend if they're truly comic book fan. I not that big of a comic fan (I was when I was a kid), but I enjoy all the TV+movie stuff they've created from it. *You are allowed to take pics & record everything that goes on.* Right when you get in, the staff starts calling you recruit (bc you're supposed to be S.H.I.E.L.D recruits which was fun for a bit, but by the end I was tired of it). You create an ID badge (it gets emailed to you, but you can have it made for real in the gift shop) then head in for some instructional videos about what you'll be doing (You'll be waiting a lot in rooms/lines. I guess they need a certain # before they can start). Then you get released into the training area. This is were they have the kiosks where you find out background on key Avengers and villains. It was so loud in there, I could barely hear the speakers telling me stuff b/c they're located below the screen which is ideal for kids to be able to hear. I ended up squatting by the speaker in front of my kiosk to hear. The props they have of the weapons are cheap "3-D Printer" (it's totally just assembly line) versions of prominent Avenger heroes and villains items. The interactive games are kinda a hit or miss. The Hulk game is literally just a Playstation kinect that sucks at catching your movements. The Spider-man wall was fun, but hard for avg height people bc it's literally a moving rock wall, so you can only climb a small amount before running out of climbing room & you wait to move down again. Cool concept, but you're too busy tiring to make sure you don't fall that you can't watch the video that plays above you. I wanted to try the Black Widow laser beam challenge, but the line for that was too long. This training area is THE ONLY TIME you get to play games, so play as much as you want before moving to the next part. You watch a giant 3-d dome movie which gets hard to keep track of everything that's going on. Anyway, at the very end you get to ride a simulator transport ship, and for me that was the best part. I mean you know the ending, but it was my favorite part of the whole thing. Fun, but overpriced (I was even able to get a college discount ($32) & was questioning if I really got all the value out of it) and really geared towards a younger audience. Adults should definitely go in the mornings to avoid the kids and long lines due to them.

    The Marvel Inexperience....

    by MrDallas28 on 1/18/15Fair Park - Dallas

Overall, the Marvel Experience is not worth $40. It is geared mostly towards children. The lines were long and the venue was noisy. We could not hear the kiosks that plays a large role in the experience. The instant hired staff tried to make it exciting, but lacked entertaining and theatrical stamina. The only best part was taking pictures next to our favorite super hero posters.
