THE MACHINE IN CONCERT:
As one of America's oldest Pink Floyd tribute bands, the Machine have spent more than 25 years honing their craft, and it's paid off -- Spin magazine confirms that they sound "exactly like Pink Floyd." Combining elaborate stage design, a state-of-the-art light and laser show, and end-to-end performances of seminal albums like Dark Side of the Moon, the band faithfully recreates Pink Floyd's legendary live shows in painstakingly brilliant detail. Fans looking for a dose of the Floyd are sure to be "Comfortably Numb" as they soak in the Machine's epic performances on their 2014 tour.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Formed in the late-'80s, New York-based the Machine arose out of its members' desire to pay homage to their idols in Pink Floyd. Over their years, their dedication and hard work saw them graduate from small bars and clubs to sold-out shows around the world, including festivals like Bonnaroo and Germany's Rock of Ages. With a knowledge of Pink Floyd's catalog that rivals that of the most rigorous Floyd historian, the Machine is known for playing the Floyd's classic hits alongside obscure cuts from darkest corners of their expansive discography. Back on tour in 2014, the band will once again recreate the legendary band's epic stage show with elaborate set designs, state-of-the-art audiovisuals, and marathon sets.

I had front row seats so I was super excited. I wasn't aware the stage is elevated which made it tough to see Scott, the keyboardist. The band was excellent, as always. They put on a great show both musically and visually. Two of the members came out after the show and interacted with the fans. It's a nice touch I appreciate. We took a few pictures, got a pick and talked a little. I can't wait to see them again. I was annoyed by the people around me who constantly talked. That of course is not the fault of the venue. My suggestion for the venue is for ushers and security to be more aware of and put a stop to people using the flash on their phone. It's super distracting and rude.
if you're a fan of Pink Floyd you need to see The Machine. I've seen a lot of cover bands playing Pink Floyd. This band is the best. They played 3 albums at the show I went to. Dark Side of The Moon Animals and WYWH. I go to all the shows when they play in my area.
Music was on point. Venue was great (including yummy food).
A great tribute band that played 3 entire albums - Wish You Were Here, Animals, and Dark Side of the Moon. Over 3 hours of classic Pink Floyd did not disappoint. If you have the chance to see them, do not hesitate. Keeping the music of Pink Floyd alive!!!
The venue itself was too crowded. But the band was also disappointing. Though they sounded good, there were way too long "jam sessions"that seemed never ending. Over an hour and a hlf into the show, heard maybe 3 songs total, with lots, wayyyy too much synthesizer jamming. Zero crowd interaction. Zero. The crowd looked half dead. We left at intermission. Not likely to see them again.
The Machine is one of the best Pink Floyd tribute bands around!!! I have seen them 24 times now, and they never disappoint!!!
Penns Peak is a hidden gem. Close by good food drink and staff. Love the view and Roadies restaurant! Security very professional bathrooms clean for volume of people. Strongly recommend for future events and concerts. The Machine have gotten better every year. New lead singer guitarist has adapted well and brought the band to the next level.
I’ve been to several different Pink Floyd tribute concerts, but this was by far the best one. The music, the lights, the engagement of the band made this show awesome.
The Machine played all the hits Pink Floyd is known for and the Lazer light show was great. The saxophone and soloist added the touch that rounded out their performance! Great Show!
