    Not as advertised

by RJBB on 12/8/12Masonic Temple - Detroit

The concert was advertised as Mint Condition as the headliner, but it was Brian McKnight. The concert started late for some reason and the special guest David Holister did his thing , and gave the lady's teddy bears while closing.(no band) they rushed him off. Next was Avant with backup singers and band. rushed him off. Then they announced that Mint Condition was next up. You could hear a little disappointment in the crowd. Mint Condition weren't on stage that long either , I don't think they sang all of thier top hits.what a disappointment a lot of people left after Mint Condition finished. Brian McKnight took the longest to setup about half an hour. We left the concert as he was comming out.

I was disappointed by this concert. I came all the way to Detroit to see my favorite artist in the whole wide world (David Hollister, I Love Him), and he was rushed of the stage because they started 1 1/2 late. Then between each act it was a 10-30 minute wait for them to set up for the next act. The performers were great but it was a shame the way it was put together. I would not attend another event set up by that particular company.

    R&B Lives On

by MsMary on 11/25/12Masonic Temple - Detroit

This was by far the most memorable concert that I have ever had the pleasure of attending. David Hollister was awesome as he took us back down memory lane and reminded everyone to "Take Care of Home". Avant was simply amazing as his song hit after hit, which took you "Sailing" away. He has a new album scheduled to be released in February of 2013, which I will be purchasing as soon as it drops. I can't say enough about Mint Condition. I grew up listening to Mint Condition and have been a fan for many years. However, nothing prepared me for the remarkable performance that I delightfully witnessed. The band was marvelous and the entire group fed off of the energy of the crowd while the crowd fed off the energy of the band, which was fueled by their amazing performance. Mint Condition is an experience that no R&B fan should ever want to miss. Don't forget to buy the new album "Music @ The Speed of Life" you will be thoroughly impressed. Brian McKnight was the icing on the cake. He was breathtaking and he reminded you of what falling in love should feel like as he wooed the crowd and his number one fan for the evening. The "Love Affair" tour was a night filled with wonderful music, extraordinarily talented singers/song writers, and incredible bands!!! The ticket was worth every penny and I recommend that to anyone that is fan of R&B music, because you will be thoroughly amazed!!!!

Late start with mic issues but good overall

by Jzmadd on 11/25/12Masonic Temple - Detroit

The show started about an hour late and Dave hollister and Avant kept saying they were being rushed off the stage but overall great show all acts sounded flawless. I traveled from Cleveland to see this show and it was worth it.

    Great!!

    by Tmoney1522 on 11/25/12Masonic Temple - Detroit

The whole concert was awesome. The speaker system needs to be checked before performers go on stage. The micraphones kept going out so you couldn't hear them & the speakers continuously crackled. Overall the singers were amazing and the entire crowd had a great time
