Laurie Berkner is a true force! A barrel of energy she single-handedly entertained without her band Playing guitar, singing and moving physically she sang some holiday songs and a couple of her popular songs. Wow. I am a preschool teacher and she is amazing
Had no idea that the venue uses folding chairs and how tight the seats would be. This was a concert for small children. They had no room to move, the chairs were unsafe. In row M you could not see the stage, and because the chairs could were not stable, child could not stand or even go on her knees on the seats. Seats were on a level floor, so if you weren't in the front you couldn't see, had to look at a screen. Sound system was horrible. Granddaughter is 2 1/2 and she loves the music, so she like it. But at the price that the tickets were and the additional cost of securing the tickets, it was a rip-off. I would never buy tickets for this venue again. Hopefully in a year or so the band will play in a real venue for concerts!
Don't miss out if you can take your family to her show! I knew it would be great, but it exceeded my expectations!!!
She is a cute singer but I was VERY disappointed that she wasn't with her band. My grandson is almost 31/2 and was too old for her without the band. The highlight for him were the beach balls at the end! I wished I hadn't missed the word "solo" when I spent $150 for three of us to go. LOVED the theatre though!
Laurie and band are still amazing !! She played old, new and holiday music it was super fun ! Definitely a must see if you have little kids best for 2nd grade and below. My 11 and 9 yr old enjoyed it as they knew most of the songs. but our little cousin loved it ! Great memories created!
The show was great. My 7 and 5 yr olds both loved it. The band sounded great live and really kept the kids engaged. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that it seemed a little short. I know that it's hard to hold the attention of little kids, and it was a Christmas themed show, but my kids still would have like to have heard a few more of their favorites.
We absolutely love Laurie Berkner Band, the energy level is amazing. She sings and dances without skipping a beat. The band is always smiling, they interact with the children, and made the entire concert a fun experience.
Laurie Berkner is awesome! I get such joy watching all the children dancing and singing. Hope she comes back again soon!
The Laurie Berkner Band puts on such a fun and amazing show. The parents have just as much fun as the kids!!!!
The band was so fun and interacted with the kids, they were so engaged! Lots of favorite songs we love to sing along with and loved the ones we didn't know too! The props were so cute and hitting the balls around the auditorium was great :) my kids loved the show - we would definitely go see them again!
