Great show Peter Wolf ran around like he was 25. Was as good as when I saw them in 1979.

THAT OLD DUDE CAN KICK IT!!!

by ChipTerri on 9/14/15Hard Rock Rocksino Northfield Park Hard Rock Live - Northfield

I've never seen Ian Hunter before but he sure knew how to get a Cleveland crowd going. The J Geils Band was tight and strong. Peter Wolf and Magic Dick haven't lost a step or a breath. Everyone around us was taken back about 40 years. One hit after another. No new band could ever keep up with the old timers. I can say that because I'm one too. If you get the chance, go see these guys. It's worth every penny.

    Blow our Faces off

by CaptainVic on 9/14/15Hard Rock Rocksino Northfield Park Hard Rock Live - Northfield

J Geils with Peter Wolf put on a great house party with a loud excellent show. With songs like Detroit breakdown, Must have got lost, J Geils belongs in the Rock and Roll Hall of fame. Peter Wolf was constant motion with his Jagger like moves and he was very gracious in acknowledging Cleveland contributions to Rock and Roll. Magic Dick blew his harmonica like he had made a deal with the devil and held those high notes Great show except for the millenniums taking their selfies with their I- phones and holding there phones up to record the whole show while blocking your view.. Great show good venue

    Excellent

Best concert I've been to in a long time. Played everything I wanted to hear, and played twice as long as any other concert I've seen at the Rocksino. I would see J. Geils again in an instant.

A House Party at the Rocksino!

by BigRoge on 9/13/15Hard Rock Rocksino Northfield Park Hard Rock Live - Northfield

What a great show, by a band that should be in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame! Just a good ole' fun time! The band are true musicians and Peter Wolf is the premier front man! They played all the crowd favorites and dipped deep in to their career and played some gems. I will see this band every time they come to town! Opening band was Ian Hunter. You could tell that he loves Rock & Roll and is not out there collecting a pay check.

J Geils/Ian Hunter was worth the money

by TheMightyMetalPete on 9/13/15Hard Rock Rocksino Northfield Park Hard Rock Live - Northfield

Aren't many concerts that can be counted on to deliver in correlation to the money commanded. This show actually did. Ian Hunter put on a spry rock & roll show alternating hits from his past with recent stuff he has been doing. It made for a compelling listening experience. J Geils played a lengthy set which allowed them to stretch out over their career. Peter Wolf is still a bonafide rock star. My only criticism would be in leaving out One Last Kiss, Angel in Blue, Till the Walls Come Tumblin' Down, and Rage in the Cage. A perfect choice was made in the guitarist replacing the actual J. Geils(retired namesake of the band). That dude was great, & fit like a fiddle.
