    Great but short

by GoodbyePorkPieHat on 6/23/15Brighton Music Hall - Boston

The Helio Sequence had their unique sound and style on full display Saturday night, although to a disappointingly only half-full crowd at the venue. Their music was bright and energetic, often very danceable, as many in audience noticed. For what they played, I really enjoyed it. But I doubt their set was more than 75 minutes total, tops. That was less than my 1-way drive time to come see them that night. I would've been happier with a longer set. But for what it was, it was still very good.

    Wonderful night out!

by StarvingActor on 6/21/15Mercury Lounge - New York

Wonderful concert at a small intimate venue. There music has some variation from the CD versions - not better or worse, just different. They seemed fully committed. Nice opening act too!

    Excellent Music, excellent people!

by Jwlanca on 6/9/15The Record Bar - Kansas City

Helio Sequence has a terrific sound and meaningful lyrics. Me and my wife absolutely love them. We had the chance to meet both members and they were really sincere people.

    The Helio Sequence is amazing!

by Dudski78 on 11/19/12Bowery Ballroom - New York

Only complaint, wish they did a Radiohead style 2X multiple encores. Essentially play all night!

love the Bowery Ballroom - wasn't thrilled with two openers but well worth the wait the band was so happy to be there and the crowd loved it - the drummer is so fun to watch

    Ramona Falls

by Spork7777 on 11/16/12Brighton Music Hall - Boston

Granted I didn't stay for Helio Sequence, but I didn't go to the show to see them either. The main draw of the show was Ramona Falls. Intuit captured my attention, as it is one of the few albums that is cohesive in modern-day music. Ramona Falls was as inspired live as it is to listen to at home. I spent sometime after the show talking to Brent and he was very accommodating. I just moved to Boston and was pretty stoked that the Brighton Music Hall was so easy to get to via the T. The staff there seemed pretty welcoming too.

    Helio Sequence Kills

by TheRealArtVandalay on 11/15/12Brighton Music Hall - Boston

Saw these guys last night at Brighton Music Hall in Boston, MA. It's a small venue, no flashy light shows or displays, just old school with a focus on the music. They totally delivered, combining a mix of new stuff and old stuff, all of it amazing. The songs that these guys make just between the 2 of them amaze me each time (yes I've seen them multiple times) I highly recommend if you get the chance to see them.
