The Gershwin Concert Experience Tickets

I have been to many concerts at Tilles and other venues and I have to say this was just about the best one I have seen. I have been going to Long Island Philamonic concerts for over 30 years and this was the best they have been. Kevin Coles was knowledgeable and entertaining as was the dancer and female singer. The whole program just flowed. My husband who usually falls asleep whenever and wherever he sits down didn't close his eyes. Kudos to all who put this together.

I have always loved Gerswhin. This performance with Mr. Cole was special because of his personal experiences with the Gershwin circle of friends/family. Rhapsody in Blue was fabulous. Singers and tap dancer added luster.

How can you go wrong with this music. The piano player was great and so was the dancer. The singer left a little on the table but was good. Nice integration of old photos and movies of Gershwin and Friends. Rhapsody & Concerto In F - superb

This concert by Kevin Cole was performed with the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Marvin Hamlish. Included were film clips and photo of the Gershwins along with friends and family. Mr. Hamlish, as usual, was very entertaining. The Pittsburgh Symphony was superb as expected. Mr. Cole perfectly captures the style of piano play of George Gershwin, he is exceptional. In between a number of tunes Mr. Cole spoke for extended periods about the Gershwins which was very interesting and informative. Also included in the concert were vocalist Sylvia McNair and vocalist and dancer Ryan VanDenBoom. Both added significantly to the performance. A must for Gershwin music fans.
