by CHerle1 on 10/15/14Drury Lane Theatre Oakbrook Terrace - Oakbrook TerraceThis was my first visit to the Drury Lane Theater, and the four hundred mile drive was well worth it. The actors were extremely animated and carried the comical lines so well! I will certainly visit again!!

Rating: 5 out of 5 Fun and Funny
by jmpchicago on 10/14/14Drury Lane Theatre Oakbrook Terrace - Oakbrook TerraceThis was a great play for the entire family. And it was nice to see entire families at the performance. A refreshing example that an extremely humorous whodunnit can be presented without an R rating. The set was outstanding as well. Highly recommended!
Rating: 2 out of 5 The Game's Afoot Off
by TSPD on 10/14/14Drury Lane Theatre Oakbrook Terrace - Oakbrook TerraceI was really looking forward to this play. It sounded like fun. The actors all seemed great, but unfortunately I did not enjoy the play overall. The story was not very entertaining, I was not able to connect with the characters and the pace seemed slow.

Rating: 3 out of 5 The Game's Afoot was slow and forgettable
by happywheaton on 10/8/14Drury Lane Theatre Oakbrook Terrace - Oakbrook TerraceThe play was 2 1/2 hours, with an intermission. Until intermission, I had only to look at the other nine of my party to know that I was not alone in thinking this was slow-moving and not very interesting. The play did, however, perk up after the intermission, with some light humor (not enough) and some decent acting. Not a total snooze, but not worth getting tickets for this play. The actors were competent, but not amazing, and they were hampered by a pretty unexciting script.
