The Finest Comedy Jam '10 Tickets

"The Finest Comedy Jam feat. Luenell Campbell...leave after her piece" I was so excited to take my boyfriend to this show. He was visiting from out of state. I was hesitant to purchase tickets because of the poor advertisement, but I was excited about the line up so I did. I knew he would love it! First of all, the show started an hour late, the echo bounced off the back wall so everything we heard was distorted. We eventually got up and sat in the back of the coliseum. The venue was EMPTY! (It wasn't a smart idea to have this show the same night as a Spurs game.) Although Joe T gave it his all, the sound sytem made it hard to get the joke all at once. Luenell was HILARIOUS! I'd definitely go see her again. Michael Blackson had a small piece of new material but people were leaving early b/c we've heard everything on Comic View already. I was disappointed with his act. Last but not least, Mike Epps was DEFINITELY advertised on every commercial I heard and was not featured AT ALL. Huge let down.

The show was nice but cost to much for such a small arena, I just moved to San Antonio & had I known that the arena was so small I would have just paid for the cheap seats because no one really showed up anyway, sad that we won't support our own.

The show was great. Perhaps I would have listed it as a NC 17 and not allowed children in. Could have had at least one more act for the ticket price. Would have a better turn out if it was not on the same night as the Spur's game. Overall I give it 3 stars.
