The Elves & the Shoemaker Tickets

This show was touted as being a great performance for children Pre-Kindergarten, so my friend and I both brought our toddlers to see it. The show was all dialogue between 5 actors alternating the roles, with little to no set design. Don't get me wrong, the actors were professional but the show itself was just not very entertaining or elaborate. Actors on stage with a backdrop of snow talking about shoes. That's really it. We were under the impression this would have more of a Christmas theme with some bright costumes, dancing and singing songs. It was not worth the $30 each that we paid and we walked away disappointed.

Perfect for young children. Should not be missed by anyone under the age of 10.

My mother took my daughter to see this show. We have read and loved the book of the same title many times. Apparently there was the addition of an evil man who was out to get the elves. This scared my 4.5 year old daughter. Good production but not what we expected.

I took my 7 and 2 year old daughters and they both loved it! The actors are very entertaining and fun. The grounds at Montalvo are beautiful, we got there early and walked around. I would recommend this play for anyone with young children-or adults. I loved it and my sister and mother as well

We had several children with us from ages 6 to 10 and they really enjoyed it. They loved the play and the actors. Great job!
