HI-LAR-EE-OUS." - Chicago Magazine

"Book of Mormon Funny"  - Chris Jones, The Chicago Tribune

The Doyle & Debbie show - featuring all-original songs - is sublime homage and parody, simultaneously idolizing and lampooning country music's tradition of iconic duos and the battle of the sexes that accompany them.  Bruce Arntson and Jenny Littleton take audiences on a freewheeling joyride through a wickedly funny script and score - all delivered with utmost sincerity.

    doyle and debbie show

The show was really funny and Debbie's singing was fabulous. I think she really has a career in country music if she wants it.

I t was somewhat funny. I liked Debbie the best. It was overrated as far as my husband and I were concerned.

Big Doyle & Debbie Fan Even if Not a Country Fan

by tinygreeneyes on 6/14/12Royal George Theatre - Chicago

I would normally never go to a country music performance, but Doyle and Debbie offer a superb mix of tongue-in-cheek and foot-stomping entertainment.

It had some funny spots, but honestly wasn't drop-dead hilarious like all the reviews claimed. Glad I only paid half-price for my tickets.

    This was such a HOOT!

by WillieBob on 6/13/12Royal George Theatre - Chicago

We went for my wife's birthday. We drug my teenaged son along. We all just LOVED it. Not only funny but touching with some real "moments." Loved the raucous atmosphere and having a drink while watching was a real treat. So nice to see three "real pros" in action that can only come through years of performance experience. Well done everyone!

Doyle and Debbie had us laughing in the aisles!

by Anonymous on 6/12/12Royal George Theatre - Chicago

The parody of old time Country music duos had us laughing all night. From the tales of Debbie #3's life and Doyle's ridiculous song lyrics, we were totally entertained. The evening exceeded our expectations.
