    Best of Cleveland

by spinner1120 on 10/18/10Rock and Roll Hall of Fame - Cleveland

Last years event was so much better!! It was disappointing that the winners did not have any information in the VIP bags. They should have a menu or business card or magnet....something anything??? Also the food area is so tight that you cant even get around the area due to the fact that the bar line and food lines are all in the same area along with the coat check.....its just to much in one small area. We also thought the entertainment was better last year. We were disappointed that Spa West was there last year as well as this year:( Im sure there are better spas than that which deserve to be the Best. All in all we are unsure if we will attend next year:( :(

Drinks were a tad expensive but not horribly so. Drink ticket system really should include credit card machine. Lots of yummy food (goat cheese mac and cheese!!), people advertising with fun freebies, silent auction, and good music. Closing with the POP ROCKS was the highlight of the evening--they were amazing!

    Not as I Pictured...

by MeMarky on 10/17/10Rock and Roll Hall of Fame - Cleveland

The Cleveland Magazine "Best of Event - 2010" was not a I pictured it would be. Magazine staffers, award winners at the very least should have been identified with name badges. Guests too should have had name badges as ID's open up conversation for networking. The food stations were less than wonderful. The only thing worth eating that I saw was the seafood pizza. There was some sort of pork based mush they threw ontop of potato chips. If that's a "Best Of"....then the chef really needs some therapy. On a postive note, the people watching was pretty good...
