Absolutely awesome show! Cast was great and very well put together!!
The first part was wonderful for children. The second half had wonderful vocals but boring for young children
It was pretty good. I wasnt impressed with the person who played Mrs. Clause . For a local show it was nice.
Seeing a Christmas show at the restored St. George Theatre gives the theatre-goer a dual sense of purpose . . . . 1) It's Christmas 2) You are supporting efforts to keep the restored theatre alive and thriving! All of the show's participants are volunteers which in and of itself is amazing, they really put on a great show. The orchestra backs them up quite professionally and overall, there is a sense of "belonging" when you go to the show. Theatre management talks to the audience and there is plenty of help in the aisles showing you to your seat, etc. Keeping venues like this going is essential in remembering how things "were" back in the day when time and effort was expended to establish facilities like this. I recommend going to this and any other show that interests you and help support the theatre in any way possible (including donations) to make sure it remains open and viable! Happy holidays!!
lots of fun! closest to radio city show with out going to city...
My family and I thoroughly enjoyed the St. George Christmas Show. Very well put together and performed by a very talented cast.
This was the first time that me and my husband took our 5 and 6 year olds to a show. I was happy we did this, because this show was for every age so my kids and us adults liked it equally.
It was not what I expected but it had cute moments. It may be OK to see if you know a performer otherwise it's like watching other people's kids at a recital, a bit painful. My kids were happy to leave at intermission and go to the bakery next door for cookies. The show has some charm to it because the performers are from the community so I understand why some people like it. I won't be going again. By the way, the theater is beautiful!
Great show for the entire family. Even toddlers will enjoy it. Make it a family tradition
