Almost missed this great show ! Found event only by chance when going to Biloxi for ULTIMATE DOO WHOP SHOW. Both were great but this had more performers and a longer program so I rate it better! All the ladies were exceptional !!!
We have all aged but these lovely ladies voices are still the same as I remember. Unforgettable and spectacular performance by all the performers. Hate to decide who was the best because they were all my favorite.
Great Show! It should have had a MC to give the proper introductions to each and every performer. The show lacked direction. The music was great and most enjoyable.,
This was a superb show, opening with the Chiffons, still sounding great with hits like "He's So Fine" and "Sweet Talking Guy". "Little" Peggy March was next and was the big surprise of the evening...she has a tremendous voice and knocked out killer versions of a number of Sixties hits, including her singles "I Will Follow Him" and "Hello Heartache, Goodbye Love." The Shirelles had way too many hits to perform all of them, but it was great hearing the ones they managed to squeeze in. The lead vocalist sounds just the same as she did back in the day, and still looks fabulous. Lesley Gore received a rapturous response from the crowd, and deservedly so. She shared some fascinating stories about her work with Quincy Jones and a 17-year-old Marvin Hamlisch. Her voice still sounds great and still soars on "You Don't Own Me". She closed the show with "It's My Party", a magnificent end to a memorable evening.
So much talent under one roof. All the ladies sang great songs, brought back many many fond memories. They were fun to sing to, also.
We totally enjoyed this concert. We had great seats but no seat in the room would have been hard to see and enjoy. The Chiffons were great. Brought back many memories and they did a great job. MY FAVORITE was Peggy Marsh. She played a lot to the audience and I just love to hear her sing. Supremes and Leslie Gore were right on with their songs. You could really hear the audience singing along with them. I could have sat another hour or two listening to all of them. Hoping they each come back for individual performances especially Peggy Marsh. She was my favorite. Nothing like listening to fantastic music that we all grew up with and most of us fell in love listening too. Many thanks for this concert.
