The music of the Charlie Daniels Band is a unique combination of southern rock, country, blues and folk. With a career spanning 50 years and more than 20 million in sales, Grand Ole Opry inductee and Grammy Award winner, Charlie Daniels is coming to the Colosseum on Friday, April 16 at 9 pm to sing some of his greatest hits including, "The Devil went Down to Georgia," "The South's Gonna Do It," and "Uneasy Rider."

by WM on 3/16/20Von Braun Center Concert Hall - HuntsvilleAmidst the fears and mass hysteria concerning COVID-19, the Charlie Daniels Band performed as scheduled. This was a wonderful break from all the goings on around us. The opening act, House Whiskey, set the tone for a rocking night of country music. Charlie Daniels is a legendary performer. This is the first time I have seen him live since I was a kid. He did not disappoint. His band was musically tight with a variety of experience. I had forgotten how well Charlie could play the guitar! The best part of the show was when Charlie spoke about growing up in eastern North Carolina during WWII and then gave a heartfelt thank you to those serving in our armed forces, those that have served and those that paid the ultimate sacrifice. The tribute garnered a standing ovation from those in attendance. It was great to see a man stand up for his country and those that have sacrificed to allow him to do what he loves. I cannot wait until August when I get to see Charlie and the band again! Great show in a great venue.

(Love being able to choose my seats, which is why I only use Ticketmaster!) Parking at VBC Huntsville is easy and smooth. Not a bad seat in the house! Concert was awesome! Can't wait for the next one!
