About

THE BOXER REBELLION IN CONCERT:

Indie rockers the Boxer Rebellion have been wowing audiences around the world with their infectious collection of hits since their inception in 2001. The band mixes emotive lyrics and catchy guitar riffs with hard-hitting drums and the crooning of frontman Nathan Nicholson to create a driving rock sound that plays out perfectly live. They shred out fan favorites like "The Runner" alongside the popular track "Diamonds" from 2013's Promises with immense energy, and fans can't help but clap and sing along to their hit-filled sets on their thrilling live tours.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

The Boxer Rebellion formed in London when Nashville, Tennessee, native Nathan Nicholson moved to the UK on a whim in 2000 and met Australian Todd Howe soon after. They were joined by London Music School grads Adam Harrison on bass and Piers Hewitt on drums, and after spending few years honing their craft the band earned an opening gig on A Perfect Circle's 2003 tour. They released their full-length debut Exits in 2005, but it wasn't until four years later that they truly broke out with the hugely popular album Union. The record spawned several popular tracks that were featured in major television series and films, earning the baqnd rave reviews from critics and fans alike and putting them on the map as an indie rock force to be reckoned with. Two more acclaimed albums followed -- The Cold Still (2011) and Promises (2013) -- drawing the band out for extensive worldwide touring in support of the releases. The Boxer Rebellion continues to deliver one unforgettable set after another on their high-octane tours.

Teragram is the best place to see Boxer Rebellion

by rickyspirals on 10/9/18Teragram Ballroom - Los Angeles

I love the venue at Teragram Ballroom. The Boxer Rebellion played here before and it was awesome then too. This band should be playing the Rose Bowl. They are that good. I wish they were bigger than Coldplay because they're way way better. Love their music. I really enjoyed the meet and greet after the show out front.

    Great Show!

by DelbertMoux on 9/30/18Teragram Ballroom - Los Angeles

I've been listening to BR for years. It's a shame they have never taken off as main stream band filing much larger venues. But the benefit to that is they are playing these smaller more intimate venues giving fans the up close and personal performance. Nathan came out into the middle of the audience several times to sing. The last time was with Andrew playing acoustic guitar with him for an encore. The audience was great and gave them room to perform. Piers always amazes me on the drums. I love to watch him play because of his drumming style. They had lots of energy and played all the songs I was hoping to hear. If you are a BR fan or if you are just considering giving them a try I highly recommend seeing them live. As a side note, the Teragram Ballroom is a great venue. It is standing room only with a cafe and bar. Restrooms are easy to access. House console is a Midas Heritage 3000. Old School analog had the BR sounding awesome. I think the PA is D&B. This was my first time at this venue and I wouldn't think twice about going back for another show.

Best band ever. They are so passionate and melodic. Every member of the band is so kind as well. They usually stay after to meet everyone.

    Boxer Rebellion was Fantastic!!

by Anonymous on 11/22/16Teragram Ballroom - Los Angeles

Great show by the BR! The band played its hits covering all the albums and sounded great live. Loved the 2 times the lead singer walked into the crowd to do a couple acoustic versions. Sounds was great and highly recommend.

    Amazing

by JerkyKing on 11/22/16Teragram Ballroom - Los Angeles

The Boxer Rebellion lived up to everything that I had imagined. The band displayed not only a great sense of professionalism, talent, and great music but a real passion for what they're doing. You could sense that it was so much more than just playing their music. What a great band! Needless to say, go see these guys, you won't be disappointed.

I had never seen The Boxer Rebellion before and had discovered their music while watching a movie (a trait that has worked out so well for me thus far! I find the best music that way!). They were amazing!

A few good moments with unforgettable arrogance

by Marty578 on 11/6/16Music Hall of Williamsburg - Brooklyn

Went to boxer rebellion for the first time with no expectations. And the first 30mins was inspiring, making me wonder why these guys are as underappreciated as they are. Then I realised over the next hour as the lead singer revealed his arrogance and entitled personality. What a sour taste left in my ears. Good luck to boxer rebellion establishing a fan base with shows like that.
