    A kids concert . . . 5 hours long???

by BigMama99 on 12/4/12Air Canada Centre - Toronto

I attended the Big Jingle concert with my 9 yr old daughter and 2 friends and their 9 yr old daughters. While we quite enjoyed the line up and the performers were very entertaining, there should have been some type of advisement on the tickets or website, somewhere - anywhere that this was a 5 hour concert!!! Who would have thought? We should have been advised that the concert would be a min of 3 hours or longer or something. It would have all been much better if we knew ahead of time that we would have been there all evening long. I ended having to buy dinner there and bought 3 slices of pizza & 1 small pop for $24 at the ACC!!! What a rip off and I think the pizza made my friend's daughter's tummy hurt! We were in Level 300 and got nothing from H&M - no t-shirts, no hats, nada. Don't the concert organizers realize that there are also paying fans in the upper levels too that should not be neglected? Anyway, don't want to be a big whiner and in the end we all had a great time and it was a very enjoyable concert.
