The Attucks Nutcracker Tickets

My husband and I went with another couple and we were all sadly disappointed. We wanted a night of REAL ballet; instead we had to sit through a glorified school play. Don't get me wrong, it would of been a GREAT school play had we been expecting that. But it was marketed as a BALLET and was no where near the sort. The costumes were extremely cheap, the set was imbarassing, and the tickets were thirty dollars a head!!!!! Needless to say, it was $120 down the drain. At least we appreciate REAL theater ALOT more now. ALWAYS READ TONS OF REVIEWS BEFORE GOING TO ANY SHOW!!!! :-)

Very well choreographed. It was pleasantly staged and presented. Great Job!!1

If this was some kind of fundraiser benefit for the theatre, then bill it as such. I'm glad these kids are involved in something, but I didn't pay that much for tickets to watch a school play. This is not to mention the complete butchering of the basis of the Nutcracker. Tchaikovsky was virtually non-existent. Instead the opening scene was some Mariah Carey garbage and it only got worse from there. You don't disrespect a classic like that.

The kids loved it! They want to come back every year. They wanted the black nutcracker, but none were for sale.

I should have read the fine print on the description of the event. We were planning on going to see a professional ballet company performing the traditional Tchaikovsky's Nutcracker ballet so we were quite disappointed with what we got. People kept turning on their phones or personal cameras to record the show.We paid over a 100 dollars all together for a non professional end of the year community show. Not worth it, at all.

I have been to many Nutcracker performances and i was a bit caught off by this version. Great to show local talent however prefer the traditional version.
