Totally awesome show. Blind Thieves opened, and they were very interesting too - lots of off-beat rhythm, percussion and amazing harmonies. But Alternates Routes took it away. They've done something really important with their song Nothing More. If you missed this show, get online and hear that song!!! We are how we treat each other and nothing more. :-) -- Christy
This band captured my interest like no other band in the past decade, at least. The lead singer, Tim Warren, just has the most beautiful voice, that packs emotion. He and the other members of this incredible group just gel and have great fun together on stage, clearly. I don't know why these guys aren't already way more famous than they are, but I know they're going to get there. They write beautiful music, ranging from heartbreaking to just high-energy fun. Do yourself a favor and call them up on YouTube/iTunes and also check out their smart and heartfelt lyrics. Plus, they're just good people. They're committed to a kindness movement, sparked by their song, "Nothing More," that I hope will spread all over the world.
It's really great to see such a wonderfully caring group of people be so successful! We would ABSOLUTELY recommend the Alternate Routes!! Their music is spectacular !
Tim and The Alternate Routes played a fantastic set in Portland. It was the first time seeing them in a long while and I loved hearing the new stuff as well as some of their oldies.
