The Almost Tickets

Wanted to go see a different, smaller, edgier group with my girlfriend and they didn’t disappoint! Great sound, great show, great night! They rocked it. Would definitely go see them again!

It was the last date of the tour, and The Almost was celebrating 10 years of the record Southern Weather. Which they played it in its entirety plus some new songs from Fear Caller. It was great. Plus a bonus, they had All Get Out with them on tour

Can't fault any of the bands - They were great. The venue however is the worst in Pittsburgh. The sound for each band was mishandled, as is tradition with the Rex. As an example, the Headliner's main vocals were so loud they drowned out the rest of the band, and legitimately were painful to listen to because of how loud they were. I had to leave after the headliner came on because the volume was so high on the vocals it was literally painful for my ears. Sound is always an issue at the Rex but this show was exceptionally awful. To note, I am in my 20s - So i'm not an old dude complaining about these "loud" hardcore bands.

All Get Out and The Almost hit hard with some great rock tunes. Honest musicians playing their hearts out. Can’t go wrong with that.

So much energy! Aaron G. Never leaves me disappointed. All the bands were high energy, and interacted with the crowd. Not a whole lot of people, so everyone was close enough to see and hear the bands. I wish it had lasted longer.
