I have been to many concerts. More than I can count. I have surfed the biggest crowds and moshed the biggest pits. But never in my life had I been to a show tht was so up close and personal to each band. So intense and fan fueled where it seemed that the only time the energy was below true mayhem, was when the bands were rotating. The sound was great, the crowd was amazing, the bands were mind blowing and each and every second was what a real metal concert should be like. The stage diving of the bass player and vocalist of Glass Clouds was a great way to set the tone for the night. And when the singer of The Ghost Inside had a conversation with a group of balcony viewers, I felt like he was doing what he loves to do. Not to mention the true feeling of excitement and inner chaos building up inside me as the curtain opened to reveal the smoke filled stage holding Miss May I. As they growled through their setlist I could feel the intensity and brutality in each an every song. And as the curtain closed at the end of their regular set list, the whole crowd began cheering, "ONE MORE SONG!! ONE MORE SONG!! ONE MORE SONG!!" And as the curtain began reopening, the whole venue exploded with excitement as they threw down one last encore song for the devoted fans standing before them. Overall, the show was an amazing experience, with amazing bands, amazing friends, and an amazing venue. By FAR, the best show I have seen.
