A Pleasant Evening
by zkghqrs on 11/29/11Rochester Auditorium Theatre - RochesterI thought that overall the performance fell just slightly short. I'm glad I went, but I think I expected a little more historical perspective - more than just announcing "this song is from 1943". The actors themselves did a pretty good job. I'm not so much of a Bing Crosby fan, but I went mainly to see the Bob Hope part. I was really impressed with the Red Skelton, Jack Benny, and Jimmy Durante characters. The jokes were very good. The piano player was an incredible added treat. It was a very enjoyable evening.
