    Great time with one exception

    by Japjoea on 1/22/24

Been going to Terrificon for years, and this past year is the only time I've ever had a single complaint. I'm not sure who was in charge of allowing people to meet the guests but being told no (Unless the guest is about to step away or leave for the day) Is unacceptable. Other then that it has been and is still my favorite Con to go to for close to a decade now. Keep up the great work.

Best Comic Con I Ever Attended

    by E Claus on 8/13/23

From the comic book covers along the wall to the giant Thanos statue this was not only a TERRIFIC comic con but the only REAL one around. Focused on comics and creators with some celeb guests thrown in for fun. Best comic con I have ever been to.

So much fun in 3 days or 1 day dependin on when u go...

    by Couggie on 8/2/23

Had an awesome and amazin time. I had asked a friend of mine to come along with me since he had never been to a Terrificon event+ b4. When we 1st got to the convention(expo) center the line to get in was like standin in a herd of cattle(slow movin and not goin anywhere) so we decided to come back in a few hrs and c if the line had gone way down. We instead seperated and went in different directions to play various slot machines and then would pick a spot and meet back up to then proceed to the convention(expo) center. When we back a few hrs later the line that was there earlier was like it had never been there to begin with. The last time I had been to Mohegan Sun Casino was in 2018 with another friend of mine. We unfortunately couldn't go in 2019,2021 and 2022 due to both of our work scheduales and couldn't get the time off. We had originally planned to go to Terrificon in 2020 but that didn't go as we all know. Overall it's a great place to go to whether ur there for the 1st time or have been goin for many yrs to c not only Terrificon but various concerts,go to the casino, try out various resteraunts,go shoppin at various stores or just spend the day relaxin, enjoyin urself,c new things...without a care in the world so to speak. Kids r also allowed with a parent to spend the day there(Can't go on the casino floor,it's not allowed). For those that have never been go on the website and c everythin that's bein offered. U can even sign up(enter ur email and create a password) and collect coins every hr to use on ur momentum card+(c website for more info) and play various games virtually on either ur phone(download the app) or on ur computer.

    Fantastic, will go again

    by Ryan on 8/2/23

First time going to TerrifiCon and it was a beautiful and magical experience. Everything was extremely well managed and all of the comic pros and celebrities were awesome. I've been to a number of cons including the big ones (SDCC and NYCC) and this one is tops in my book.

    Underwhelming

    by Eric on 8/2/23

Not worth the cost of admission! There were some great artists and personalities to meet and get autographs from. But the prices for autographs of personalities was EXTREME! I found a good mix of vendors, but far too few of them for my taste. Also, not many high end vendor options. This Con would be much better with a reduction of the entry price, $30 Max.

    Great Convention

    by Peter on 8/2/23

Well-run comics convention with lots of wonderful comics creator guests. Lines were mostly short except for a few super-popular folks. Lots of small indy creators too, and lots of great vendors. There were celebrity guests too but that wasn't what I was there for.

    Good but not perfect

    by Comicutie on 8/1/23

I attend Terrificon every year. I love the celebrity guests the most. While I enjoyed everyone, I met this past year, I can't help but notice that because of those overseeing the event, I was denied the opportunity to meet a celebrity guest I really wanted to meet on Saturday. This year, there were people monitoring lines and sending paying customers away. Me and my party were sent away no less than five times only to be told ultimately "that's all for today". We were willing to wait and there wasn't any real need to micro-manage lines. Additionally, there wasn't any effort to grant us access to the line each time we came back, and the lead monitor was quite rude. I shouldn't have to "come back tomorrow"to get what I PAID for. I going to be quite hesitant to return next year. After all, why should I spend my hard-earned money to be disappointed?

    Great tyme

    by Depeche25 on 8/1/23

Was great to see lots of cosplay. Hats off to the 501st table and rebel alliance tables got lots of pics with them. The autograph were a bit to expensive so didn't get any of those. And ticket prices were really expensive 2 tickets for 1 day cost over a hundred dollars.
