Tate Stevens and his band know how to rock the crowd. Every band member gets his turn to shine and Tate has a strong country voice that shows why he won the X-Factor. Whether he is singing his own music or others he nails it. When he did Ships by Joe Diffie you would have sworn it was Joe singing it. I thoroughly enjoyed myself and was also appreciative for the meet and greet afterwards.
Stevens and his band were high energy, interactive with the crowd, and gave us a variety of songs both from his album and his x-factor tour. Would have enjoyed a few more slow numbers that highlight his unique voice. Appreciate that the muscians played continuously for an hour and a half, and kept the chatter to a minimum. Would like to see how he does in a larger forum.
Tate Stevens is on his way to the top! His stage presents is great and his new material is very refreshing to CW... Tate really puts on a great show, working the crowd, make you feel a part of the show. We let with an uplifted good old down home feeling. We left wanting more and more from this good old down home singer. Tate is now a part of our family and we look forward to more albums and personal appearances. I'd drive 600 miles to see Tate perform!
You hear his heart and his love for what he is doing comes out in his performance. He puts on a great show, I loved it! Only thing I did not like is not understanding it was an outside venue standing by the Pool. It was extremely humid in Lake Charles,I stood in uncomfortable shoes and blue jeans. Wish I wore shorts! I left before his last song just because I could not take it any longer , been standing since 8pm - so sad I missed the end. I hope I get to see him again this time in a seated venue. Need to buy his album. Love him , love he is a family man who is living his dream. His band it great too the fiddler can play!!! Overall positive experience worth it to see those dimples in person.
