Funny, heart string puller all around Great production.
The play was not what I expected. I've followed this play since its conception at a church and the quality has declined over the years. I probably won't see it again and will not recommend it to family and friends.
It started too late (8pm) and didn’t start on time. Story line great but too much non-impressive singing.
Why did y’all mess us the play for us with faulty microphones and bad lighting? From the beginning and throughout the plays run the sound’s system’s cracking along with going in and out drowned out the entire message. Along with not being able to hear at times the spot light was on then off making it hard to see the person who our attention was supposed to on. Not making any attempt to fix these problems during scene changes and intermission made the entire experience more of a high school play because the same problems continues with the same actors sounds system. This makes me feel bad for the singers/actors who did a wonderful job, especially the children. This was a birthday gift that I asked for and due to the amount of what looking like fixable mistake’s cheapened the entire experience. My daughter and I left early and would not be recommending.
Perilous Times was an excellent production. The actors, dancers and singers did a phenomenal job, and the story was powerful with a great message. I waited a long time to see this play and it did not disappoint. The only problem was there were some issues with the sound, but otherwise, it was perfectly done. I can't wait to see it again next year! I have been telling everyone I know that it's a must see, especially for young people.
Appreciated story line and local Detroit talent but disappointed by sound system issues on Saturday night so unable to hear some of the dialog and singing
This was my first time seeing the show and it was wonderful. The performances were outstanding. We had $75 seats and they were really good. Also, the seats at the Fisher were nice and roomy. I've had a bad experience at the old Joe Louis with tight leg room. My only criticism was regarding the actors' microphones. The sound kept going in and out and we actually lost quite a bit of the performance because of it. Other than that, it was great!!
This was one of the best plays I’ve been too in Detroit. I love how interactive the play was. The show wasn’t too long or too short. It started in a timely manner. Also everyone was phenomenal. I loved the duets with Kevin and Kierra and The leaders were all great. Semaje and all the series did amazing!!!!
I have seen this play over 30 times. It always a great pleasure to see this play. I love the acting, singing, costumes, etc. Everything about this play is A++++
The sound system wasn’t very good. I spent over $200 for tickets. I go to the fisher theater frequently, for other plays. I never had that experience before. You need to step it up.
