SWINGIN' UTTERS IN CONCERT:

Nearly three decades after their formation, San Francisco-based punk rockers Swingin' Utters continue to deliver utterly amazing live performances on tour. The band's career-spanning sets include tracks from all of their albums, treating fans to favorites like "Next In Line", "Teenage Genocide", and "Catastrophe". Frontman Johnny Bonnel's raw intensity and erratic movements remain a thrilling focal point at their live shows, and the band's charismatic stage presence remains as gripping as ever. With their unique blend of Irish folk elements, anthemic punk choruses, and intelligent lyrics, the Swingin' Udders deliver an ecclectic concert experience that ticket buyers won't soon forget.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Swingin' Utters formed in 1987 in Santa Cruz, CA, making a name for themselves in the small coastal town before relocating to San Francisco. Their debut album, 1995's The Streets Of San Francisco, won Best Debut Album at the Bay Area Music Awards and earned them a slot on the first-ever Vans Warped Tour. In 1996 they penned a deal with Fat Wreck Chords, which released all eight of their studio albums. In the early '00s Swingin' Utters toured alongside fellow punk rockers The Damned, Dropkick Murphys, and Rancid, and their uncompromising performances on the road earned them legions of dedicated fans. After an eight-year hiatus they returned in full force in 2011 with the album Here, Under Protest. That record ushered in a new period of creativity for the band that resulted in 2013's Poorly Formed and 2014's Fistful Of Hollow. A veteran live act known for their uncompromising performances, Swingin' Utters continue to treat lucky ticket buyers to career-spanning sets on tour.

    awesome.

Small "intimate" venue. Maybe about 50 people. It was great because we got to stand up front. The stage was short though (about knee height) and now I have bruises on my knees from being shoved into the stage so much. It was totally worth it though. Awesome show. My only real complaint is that the sound system there (and I guess at other shows they've played recently) sucked and Johnny lost his voice and couldn't do the encore. I was sad I didn't get to see them do dirty sea :(
