Susan Werner Tickets

As a musician myself, I take every opportunity to see live concerts, and take great interest in singer songwriters. Susan’s incredible creativity as a writer and extraordinary skill as a performer on guitar, piano and voice were nothing short of mIraculous. Her humor, her sensitivity and her passion shined through in her clever lyrics and Brilliant interpretation. I can’t wait to see her again.

I'd never seen her before, but watched some videos before buying tickets. She started right on time and put on an excellent show. Very entertaining. She engaged the audience and didn't just sit there and play music. Ms. Werner has an excellent singing voice. It was a pleasure to listen to her.

This is out 21st year seeing Susan perform. Our first concert was at the M shop at ISU, and this was fittingly also at ISU, but she has graduated to the big time of Stevens Auditorium! Susan's performance was spectacular and we really enjoyed her friend on the accordion and piano too. Can't wait to see her again soon! :)

Susan Werner is such a wonderfully talented artist. Her music ranges from ballads to toe tapping...or dancing if you prefer. Everyone really ought to see her to understand for themselves how great she is. We had a spectacular time and will see her every change we get!!

Excellent concert, great acoustics, thought provoking, fun. Great voice and musical talent. All the components came together for an outstanding night. Susan was kind and gracious with the audience and staff.

I have seen Susan Werner numerous times over the past eight years, and over this time she has continued to evolve as a songwriter and performer. Her most recent efforts have been inspired by her travels to Cuba and New Orleans. Werner does not just ape styles or write simplistic travelogues. Instead, like Paul Simon, she immerses herself in varied musical cultures and collaborates with the musicians of those cultures. And, like Simon, she imbues her music with her unique viewpoint and humor. Her development as a musician is evident in her recordings and concert. In performance, she is winsome. She engages her audience, making every show, whatever the size of the venue, an intimate, personal experience. See her if you can.

I've probably seen Susan 30 times over the years and so am obviously a big fan. But I continue to go back because she delivers the full entertainment experience each and every time I see her. Not only is Susan a phenomenally gifted musician and one of the best lyricists in the business, but she's just plane funny! She could stand up there and do comedy for 2 hours and not sing one of her great songs and I would still walk away happy. She is able to take whatever is happening in the world, set it to humor and weave it into her show. If you've never had a chance to catch Susan playing, do it soon. You will not be dissappointed.

Susan is a most amazing singer/song writer. Her ability to switch seemlessley from country, to blues, to folk , then back again was beautiful. We love the lyrics and the messages in the songs. My wife was raised in Iowa, home of the nicest people, and she and I really connected with the farm based songs , especially the line about "all four legs and did not smell like hogs"!!!! We loved the most topical ones as well! After the show when she signed autographs, when it was our turn, she continued to connect on a personal level. She seems to always be in the moment and very genuine unlike other performers we have seen.

Very enjoyable show. Great seating. Seating was at tables on the stage with drinks and appetizers.
