I was very excited to see these singers perform. But out of the 10 acts, 4 of them either lip synced or sang over their track. You could tell who were the one's who really sang, because they sounded great. The one's who lip synced did not sound as good, but their beat still had you dancing.
I liked the place, was clean and the staff very friendly
My family and I had a BLAST at the concert. I enjoyed the night and the MC were great. I can't wait for next year.
This is my second year attending freestyle explosion. I'm just blown away how I am still crazy about the many artists playing the music I grew up with as a teenager and young adult. I felt young again and brought back memories of when I was young. This is the greatest era for the best music :). The music feeds the soul and allow me to be happy amd free fir one night. I got a free cd and can't stop playing the songs. I want to keep on dancing. I thank the radio station for sponsoring the concert. I will be a continued loyalist as long as freestyle concert will be available! I'm sincerely grateful to the annual concert. I hope everyone attended agrees with me! Let's keep freestyle alive!
Kick ass! ALL the artists did an amazing job on stage, even Debbie Deb who sounded sick (someone get the girl some hot honey tea and cough drops! please!! lol). Left after Expose's set (who to me was the real big act/closer for the night :) - already seen Stevie B. perform hella, so meh - didn't feel cheated by leaving before his set lol Jade Starling/Pretty Poison did a really great job starting the night with her version of the some really great Freestyle hits.
I recognized only the popular songs of each performer. Brings you back and gets you out of your seat to dance. It's best to go with someone who enjoys the same music. If I had brought my husband (he's from England), he wouldn't have enjoyed himself, so I brought my cousin. We had fun! Only 2 things I would critique...1) We weren't seated that close so I wish they used the big video screens so we could see the performers' faces, and 2) a couple performers talked too much between songs. I totally get expressing the love of fans and hyping up the crowd, that's fine...but when they get into a long monologue, it brings down the "music high"...and I wind up sitting back down in my seat.
Nu Shooz and Expose killed it! All the other artists were rad too, so amazing to see these songs live.

This concert was one of the worst iv been to the performance of the musicians was poor. Its seem like no effort was put into special effects. The event was cheaply put together.
Great concert, great music...can't wait for the next one!!
