    What a church experience!

by Christian Love on 6/12/19Grand Ole Opry House - Nashville

This was no ordinary concert, I felt like I was in church! This is what I came to Nashville for, a Bible Belt experience! The artists, music and host was great and I loved the location! This was me and my husbands first time at the Grand Ole Opry and what a time we had!

    Worthy, uplifting, but very long

by W. Q. on 6/12/19Grand Ole Opry House - Nashville

First time attending this event. It was typical of a Grand Ol' Opry evening, a VERY LONG one. I could feel the gratitude coming out for all the hard work and volunteering that helped bring the show to the stage but the length of the show forced people to leave early and miss some of really good last acts. Too much applause and non-scripted thank you's. Loved Brenda Lee as host and couldn't believe she stood at her podium throughout the nearly 4 hour show. However, having an assistant to help cue her might be needed, a consistant one to avoid interruptions. I feel many of the beloved performers and this music may be disappearing so I intend to return and enjoy this show as long as I have the chance..

Someone should tell you it's church

by Mainefam on 6/13/18Grand Ole Opry House - Nashville

This was a bucket list venue for me and I was extremely disappointed that it wasn't advertised as it was! This was a church session for $50 a ticket! Could have went to church for free. Never again!

It was like paying to go to church.

by CocoKY on 6/15/16Grand Ole Opry House - Nashville

The event itself was not well organized. I expected more of a traditional gospel show, but it was more like a church service with Christian themed music, as opposed to hymns. Save your money.

Sunday mornin country was a disappointment

by Reegma on 6/15/16Grand Ole Opry House - Nashville

My husband and I were very disappointed in the show. The music was soso. The MC went on and on about nothing. The seats were not comfortable after 30 minutes or so. In general we thought it was all very hokey. We left halfway thru. Wouldn't recommend it or go back to another one.

    Loved Sunday Mornin' Country

by LLines on 6/17/15Grand Ole Opry House - Nashville

We absolutely LOVED the concert - Had hoped that Brenda Lee might surprise us with a song, but it was great to see her! Congrats to Lulu on her award! We were blown away by both the harmonica & the yodeling gospel songs!!! WOW! Very emotional for me. Honoring of our military is always a plus! Great songs by Linda Davis, Marty Raybon and so many more! too many to mention!

    Not what we expected

by Anonymous on 6/17/15Grand Ole Opry House - Nashville

We were looking forward to this event for two reasons- to see some great music and to see the Grand Ole Opry. The artists were good- but definitely an older set of entertainers (and We are in our early/ mid 50's). There were awards given out for things we knew nothing about and there was a LOT of talking inbetween acts by the people on stage. The Opry itself was disappointing as well- beautifully landscaped grounds but the auditorium itself was very plain and nothing special- I expected it to be prettier. We left this performance early- felt it was a nice show for a much older crowd- just was not for us. ( We loved the music at the Country Music festival going on in downtown Nashville)

    Refreshing

by Scaltoid on 6/17/15Grand Ole Opry House - Nashville

It has become popular to go on stage offering Christian jestures but when you are in the presence of people who live their faith, God shows up. Music City Christian Fellowship gives their time and talents to Jesus. This is what it must have been like in the beginning at the Ryman Auditorium.
