"Summer Hummer" was an irreverent, off- color, over-the-line review with great talent performing outrageous songs. And, as an added benefit, it raised lots of money to help theater artists in need. We loved it all. Don't miss next year!
The show was cute. The ladies and gay men were going "wild," so I can't exactly say I went "wild," but I did enjoy myself. I basically enjoyed the audience reactions as much as the stage performances. For those concerned with the rating (NC-17), it was really no worse than the lyrics in A Chorus Line or the BRIEF nudity in Hair or Spring Awakening. Guess I felt a little sorry for the gentlemen who could "hold themselves" with one small hand and still preserve the rating? LOL. There were no females embarrassed or degraded in this show, as far as I could tell anyway!
