    Re-living the '70's

by ByeByeVegas on 5/25/14Verizon Amphitheater Alpharetta - Alpharetta

Excellent lineup. Was surprised by how good Don Felder was. Played a lot of Eagles tunes and did a pretty good job. Foreigner was excellent. Styx really rocked out. Would have preferred a little less Felder and a little more Styx.

    Great show! Unforgettable songs.

by outstandinglydisappointed on 12/16/11Gibson Amphitheatre at Universal CityWalk - Universal City

Too bad I missed Kansas. One band I really wanted so much to see but my ride arrived late. Oh well, maybe next time. Styx and Foreigner rocked. I love all those memorable songs. I'm 46 years old. I grew up listening to these bands.

Surprise appearence "Kansas"...Eventhough was a very cold summer afternoon and just knowing a few songs of all 3 groups, I was cuddling all the time with my hubby listening to oldies music...it was great!!

Can You Take Me High Enough

by SunshinePublications on 10/7/10LOVE this amphitheater! Plenty of bathrooms and drinking stations made me a happy concert-goer. - Concord

Wow. Coming in late with a review. Missed Kansas because got to event too late. Styx was next up and, as other reviewers seem to agree, they blew everyone away. Loved the one-song tribute to Damn Yankees they stuck in there, too. Styx was energetic beyond belief and it seemed natural. Foreigner strained to be as lively and pumped up. Lead Foreigner singer tried too hard to be sexual. You're an older man, now, spandex dude; you can tone it down a bit. IMO, Foreigner should have opened the show, followed by Kansas, then Styx as the grand finale. The show would really be building up to the best. Sadly, Foreigner never played Waiting for a Girl like You. You can't go retro in concert without playing that one. It's all about Styx. Not to knock Foreigner, but after Styx, their energy paled in comparison. Would I see it again? You bet. Great venue, crowd was charmed into submission, me included.

This concert was the best of the best

by Anonymous on 8/8/10Target Center - Minneapolis

Having all three perform was amazing - they packed all the great songs into their performance and rocked the house. Kansas started it off, Foreigner got the house rockin and Styx blew us away. Worth every penny and more.

They all rocked the house and sent me back to the days of my youth. As well as, opened up the door to new stuff for me and the several newbies that attended the concert.

    Loved it!

by WomanGirl on 7/18/10Sleep Train Pavilion At Concord - Concord

Kansas opened & it was great, I was happy. The singer struggled with some notes but, hey - it's 30+ years later and those were some spectacular notes he was holding way back then. Age happens... Then - Styx! Oh man - the energy, the stage presence....James Young & Tommy Shaw! They put on a SHOW! I can't emphasize enough how they worked the stage, interacted with the crowd & how engaged everyone was. The best show I've ever seen, hands down! Foreigner was next. Awesome light show, for sure! Great job on Dirty White Boy - loved it.

Hands down the best concert I've been to. The opening act, Kansas, was fantastic. Foreigner rocked. Styx was amazing, as usual. All in all, a really awesome show.

    Styx/Foreigner/Kansas

by tburgak on 7/16/10Blossom Music Center - Cuyahoga Falls

They all sounded amazing - just like they did when I first heard them years ago. Half of them are looking as old/older than me but they still know how to rock.
