The recital was great, The only part that was disappointing is that you weren't automatically in the same group as all of your class.
I love how you keep changing things up and entertaining us! Thanks for a really great show! ~The Thompson Family
I loved this year's show. There was definitely more variation of routines/songs. The finale was AMAZING. Great job!
This years recital was the right length of time and the right mix or rec and comp classes. I didn't notice 20 of the same dances like last year. Much improved.
I really wish they had planned the recital and rehearsal better. Not only did I have to sit through the same dances 6 times each at the rehearsal, but I had to watch them 3 more times each at the recital. The recital was long and boring watching mainly little kids with the same songs.
Awesome young dancers. Very enjoyable. Dancers were very enthusiastic and crowd very appreciative.
Sorry, I don't mean to complain. I love Studio 4 and the Staff is Awesome but I did not like the way the Recital flowed this year for the rec classes. I know it is hard to please everyone but when I have to pay $18 or more for a ticket I want to see a show. The show really needed a finale and more competition groups. My mother and I were both dissapointed in the show. We went last year and loved it!! It was so fun to watch. I really would like it more like it was last year with all the comp lines and high school girls farewells and less repeat songs & age groups (Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star 4 or more times was too much). I am not worried about my daughter being up late on that night because this is her thing...and her show...I want her to have the full experience. I know a lot of us mom's look forward to seeing all those fantastic dances and it really makes us think about our girls future in dance when we see those comp girls look so AWESOME! Since there are a so many classes and lines does it need to be split over 2 weekends or do 1 more extra show on one weekend. Can there be a comp show for the rec girls to watch that does not cost us so much money? Or can they dance their dances the first half (or second half - split the rec groups 1/2 first part of show and 1/2 end part of show) and then be released at half time to watch the remaining part of the show so they can see some of the show? I know my daughter would love that.
Enjoyed the show but inside of theatre was too cold and music too loud.
