    Well done

by SJ on 12/22/23Gas South Theater - Duluth

This is a very talented cast. I love the Christian based spin. My 10 year old grand daughter stayed engaged.

    Liked It

by Giggly on 12/22/23Gas South Theater - Duluth

The show was good. The singing and dialog were very good, good story line, nice variation of A Christmas Carol. The dancing lacked compared to the singing and dialog. The costumes were good. The theater is nice, parking is great and reasonably priced. The concession stand had a nice selection with reasonable prices but with just 2 people who had to mix drinks, make popcorn, serve all the customers, etc, it was grossly understaffed. The show started late to allow all to get their drinks and snacks which was nice.

Storybook Winnie the Pooh Kids was great fun!

by BKSS on 4/16/13Duke Energy Center for the Performing Arts - Raleigh

This was a great play. I loved that it was just about 1 hr 15 min long with a break in the middle (for potty breaks if needed). This story followed along one of the Pooh short movies we have at home so it was a lot of fun to see my nearly 4 year old put the pieces together with the play characters. Tigger was a Huge hit for laughs from the kids and Owl of course got many of the parents giggling.

Winnie the Pooh-held my son's interest

by weewur on 4/15/13Duke Energy Center for the Performing Arts - Raleigh

A great introductory musical for a preschooler. It was only an hour long, with an intermission (great for that important potty break!). The play followed Disney's Pooh movie closely. Even though my almost 5-yr-old is into Star Wars and Spiderman, Winnie the Pooh wasn't too young for him.

Poor Sound Production Makes Story Hard to Follow

by Reviews101413 on 4/15/13Duke Energy Center for the Performing Arts - Raleigh

The sound quality was terrible so we couldnt really hear anything that was going on. This is especially difficult when yu are trying to hold the attention of a small child.

    Winnie the Pooh was Great!

by JSRPoohFan on 4/15/13Duke Energy Center for the Performing Arts - Raleigh

Very true to the most recent Pooh movie that was out in 2011 - almost word for word. Actors did a great job and the costumes were just right - all were easily recognizable. My 6 year old (and I) was thrilled with the performance. I got teary eyed at the end as I do with all Pooh movies that end with CR and Pooh leaving together hand in hand! BTW - there was no Backson at the end like in the movie - but it wasn't needed - the show was perfect!

    Cute play

by Raleighkris on 4/15/13Duke Energy Center for the Performing Arts - Raleigh

This play followed the movie nicely. (Even if you didn't see the movie a gazillion times like us, you would still be able to follow it anyways! ). The actors were enthusiastic, the set was bright and the storyline short ....perfect for the attention span of young ones. The only problem (for the theater) was that since it wasn't sold out, we were all moved forward toward the stage...which was great for seeing the play up close and personal....I just hope they don't cancel future productions because of low attendance. It's a great way to introduce the theater to children!!
