In a stunning program of renaissance masterworks from both the Roman Catholic and Protestant traditions, the12 singers themselves demonstrated the mastery of diction, of vocal technique, and of performance emotion the music requires. Each singer would be a superb soloist, and singing together their performance is truly sublime. Having had the privilege of hearing them before, we looked forward to hearing them again. They have become even better over time, and the LC performance was magnificent. It is difficult to think of adequate superlatives to describe it.

They perform without a conductor; instead, they guide their performance by looking at one another. The short introductory talks added to our understanding and appreciation of the pieces.
