My friends and my partner had a couples night . We went to Graton Resort & Casino, we had tickets for Stephen Sorrentino show . What a night I was ask to come up on the stage by Stephen and got to dance with him kicked off my shoes as did he. Had a good laugh as he escorted me off the stage I told him he made a 70 year old lady who has had 2 strokes feel like she was 21 one more time. He continued to refer to me during the rest of the truly entertaining show his talent is abundant the lady dancers beautiful and all so talented. I do hope he appears here again soon. I will take all my friends to see him again.
I have had the pleasure of seeing Sorrentino perform in Las Vegas in the past in a large stage production. This time it was a smaller and more intimate setting on Broadway at the Iridium (Broadway/52nd). I did not miss the showgirls, large band and set changes. What we got that night was the purity of Sorrentino's talent and ability to hold an audience for almost 2 straight hours. His connection with the packed house was unbeatable by any standards in the current state of show business. His story telling, humor, improvisational skills etc, are second to none. This man is going places. I would see him again if I had the opportunity. The star studded audience (TV and stage stars) stood up and cheered at his final bow. He is truly a great story teller!
The show was spectacular with an incredible performace by Mr. Sorrentino. His skills and wardrobe create an experience like the real one. If you didn't know any better you would swear you saw the actual performer he is impersonating. I would recommend everyone to see his show, it is certainly worth it.
Its a fair; small type las Vegas show singing dancing comedy and impersonations.
WE saw Stephen Sorrentino at the Tropicana and was blown away. There is NOTHING in town like hinm and that show. We were sad to see that he brought the show elsewhere for the summer. From what we read it was a hit. I hope to see them back in AC by winter!!!! BRING VOICES BACK WHERE IT BELONGS!!
Very entertaining. Even though the artists imitated were of my generation.(60), the children attending with their parents around us had a great time and laughed along with the whole audience. Mr. Sorrentino is very talented and puts together a very lively and entertaining show. My husband and I both enjoyed it tremendously!
Recently saw Voices in My Head. This was the second time for me. I saw the show in Las Vegas several years ago. It was truly outstanding both times. Sorrentino simply takes you on musical, comedic and touching journey. You basically forget about the world and willfully take the trip. The guy somehow does everything: singing, stand up, playing instruments, impressions, dancing, acting, audience participation, etc. You've never seen anything like and he weaves it all together into an amazing show that I loved. It's hard to explain Voices in My Head in a review......just go see it. You'll love it and you won't forget it.
Clearly the individual who left the negative review along with personal attacks is somehow personally connected to the performer, thereby giving a tainted and childish review. Entertainment (especially comedy) is subjective to taste. This performer seems to be the most raw, open performer in front of the audience. He offers himself on a plate without pretense of the audience feeling "worked". I appreciate that.
You get warmed up immediately. Entertaining dancers, and Stephen Sorrentino has a wonderful range to his voice thus he provides a terrific variety with his impressions of male & female vocalists. The theatre was full and we arrived 45 minutes early for good seating.
