by BQ on 4/23/24Birchmere - AlexandriaThis was a wonderful concert. The musicians are all so talented and they played flawlessly and with such warmth. The Birchmere runs very well, service for food and drinks very good. The one complaint I have is that I had trouble understanding the words in the songs. I don't know if that's the sound system or something else.

The stage lighting was like having someone shine their bright lights directly in your eyes. There were times we were covering our eyes from the glaring lights. It was so bad my wife and I did something we have never done before and that is leave in the middle of the show. Go see the Steep Canyon Rangers but don't go see them at the Jefferson Theatre in Charlottesville VA.
