Gosh, I remember when Starry Nights was totally full with displays from all over the mid-south. It was something about which we could boast. I want to thank those who participated this year. It was beautiful.
I’d never been before but my dude wanted to take me. We got tickets online so we didn’t have to wait in the other long line— good choice! Yhe light displays were awesome in every way. The music was nice and family friendly but a bit slow and dated— almost putting us asleep so we ended up listening to a Christmas station that was slightly more upbeat. Great price for a great evening!
My family (Grandfather, his girlfriend, sons, daughters and grandchildren) toured the exhibit, including the visitors center. Since our last visit three years ago, much has ben added to improve the tour. It is, of course, a very popular event attracting so many visitors ! The only problem is exiting the event - as it is dark, finding the exit was hard. One more thing: we came in the back entrance (much shorter waiting time) and, to my surprise no one, asked for tickets at any time during our two car tour !
Starry Nights was the best this year. Extra lights and displays were wonderful to see Everyone enjoyed going.
There were lights everywhere. Kids on the edge of their seat as traffic went smoothly. Never a dull moment as lights flickered showing beautiful designs bringing Christmas alive! We’ll be there next year
Easy access to the lights. Kind and helpful volunteers and staff. Beautiful lights. I think they've added a bit more this year. Their hard work shows. Thank you!
We went to look at the lights and had planned on going to the Mistletoe Village. The lights were ok. Not nearly as much as I thought there would be. We only spent 10 minutes driving by them and it took that long because of the slow moving line. Our big plan was to do the activities in Mistletoe Village but when we were near the path for it we were waved away. We were given no information as to it being closed down or if there was another entrance. I assume it wasn't closed because we got there at the start of the event and the FB page kept advertising it as open that day. Very upset that we paid $20 for basically nothing. Save your money and drive around the homes that are more done up. Won't be going here again.
Starry Night was nice, had a deer pass in front of us while on the trail. Unfortunately Memphis had to be Memphis... my vehicle was broken into while in Memphis just prior to going to the Starry night and it was all I could do to put on a happy face for my family.. then a few weeks later Memphis grave robbed a southern monument. Our past is ugly but it is still our past and those that forget or try to ignore history are doomed to repeat it. I won't spend anymore of my money or time in Memphis
We went several years ago. We planned Starry Nights as part of a Christmas visit back to Memphis. It does not compare to display of several years ago. It needs to be upgraded or closed.
I had an amazing time and can't wait for it to come back. This will be on my calendar annually.
