    Wonderful performance!

by MRC1978 on 8/13/09Beacon Theatre - New York

A great combination of Spinal Tap songs, Folksmen songs, and other stuff too. They took questions from the audience at one point, which is something I'd never seen at a concert before.

    Awesome Group

by Lmclev on 7/31/09The Chicago Theatre - Chicago

I loved this show! They played some new songs which were great as well as my favorites from A Mighty Wind and Spinal Tap. I didn't want it end.

    It went up to 11

by eyudewitz on 7/30/09Beacon Theatre - New York

Seriously. To 11. the 3-d performance was hilarious, they did a great job of mixing in the Spinal Tap with the Mighty Wind and occasional Guffman or Shearer-solo projects as well, not to mention the rare footage and between-song performances which were equally entertaining.

Unwigged & Unplugged - We're Going to Broadway

by Pennyforyourthoughts on 7/30/09Palace Theatre Columbus - Columbus

We have followed this trio both collectively and individally for many years. In particular, we are great fans of Christopher Guest and his amazing ability to create humor that is right on target with so many interesting topics in the mocumentary format. We were so enamored of Waiting for Guffman that we traveled to Lockhart, Texas where the movie was filmed and walked the steps to Corky St. Clair's apartment. We are also great fans of Spinal Tap so when we had the opportunity to see the Unwigged & Unplugged show, we couldn't wait. By the way, their work is cross-generational in our family and is enjoyed by boomers and gen Xers equally. The show exceeded our expectations. The muscial abilities combined with each member's writing, timing and humor was a joy to be a part of. We hope that they continue their collaboration and can’t wait to see the next performance.

    Unwigged & Unplugged

by KeswickGoer on 7/28/09Keswick Theatre - Glenside

This show lived up to it's preview....like listening to a few friends jam in their basement studio! The question and answer session was priceless, especially since many audience members couldn't separate Christopher Guest, Michael McKean, and Harry Shearer from Nigel, David, and Derek! Music ranged from Rock, Folk, and Jazz, and the different versions of many of the songs, some from the movies, some from others (Rolling Stones), showed that these guys can really play!

    Unwigged, Unplugged, and Unbelievable!

by PiccPerson on 7/25/09Palace Theatre Columbus - Columbus

This was so much more than we imagined. These are not only three creative and funny gentlement, but three incredible musicians. I would definitely encourage anyone who is considering this show to go, and look forward to the best few hours they will ever experience at a concert!

    We thoroughly enjoyed Unwigged!

by Tra1984 on 7/25/09Beacon Theatre - New York

We weren't sure what to expect upon purchasing tickets. We both knew we liked the people that would be performing but were clueless as to what they would be doing on stage. I have to say that the show was funny and entertaining beyond our expectations. The seats were on the aisle which is great for a quick trip to the restroom. We would definately go to see them again if they tour in the future.

    UNWIGGED & UNPLUGGED

by candlewax on 7/22/09The Chicago Theatre - Chicago

This show was extremely entertaining and fun to watch. I haven't really many of the movies they have done and therefore didn't know many of the songs but the show kept my interest none-the-less. I definetly would recommend these guys to anyone looking for a good show whether you know their stuff or not.

    What - no puppet show?

by Voldemort on 7/18/09Palace Theatre Columbus - Columbus

Great show, lots of fun. Small theater was perfect real-time audience Q&A, making each show unique. Absolutely wonderful time covering the entire spectrum - thanks guys.

These guys have really still got it! They were super hilarious. Quick on their feet as usual. And covered material from the beginning until now. A+! I would highly recommend this show to all fans!
