Spartyka Fight League Tickets

I purchased two, general admission tickets for $35 each and I can honestly say I should have saved the money for something better. To start things off, the event started 30 minutes late. The music that played while we were waiting was extremely loud and obnoxious. Once the announcer started, I thought it might be pretty good. I was wrong. Every fight ended by submission in the 1st or 2nd round. Not a single fight lasted for all three rounds. Most of the guys were fighting "independently." Not to insult the people that came out to do what they train for, but it was flat out boring. There was a lack of skill and tactic. These guys threw punches sloppily and whoever got worn out first, lost. I understand that not everyone is going to be awesome, it's an amateur league. But I, as a supporter, should not have to spend 70 bucks to watch a mediocre (at best) performance. When I had looked at the website and seen some other reviews, I was expecting to at least be entertained! Maybe this event is not indicative of all of their events, but I wouldn't recommend spending the money.

Are group had a great time. We paid for the VIP seats. There was no layout of the VIP seating at time of purchase and its a 8 person minimum and maximum. The tables were laided out all the way around the ring but they were retangular, so four seats faced the ring and four faced AWAY from the ring. That sucked. Round tables would have been better or lying the tables out long ways would have been best. Otherwise I would probably go again.

This was my first time attending SFL with my son. I thought it was well worth it. I would like to have had the opportunity to sit on the ground level. There were a few spectators that were very annoying/intoxicated though. More security!!!

The event was extremely well-run. The fights were a little disappointing in many cases, but you cannot fault the event for that. We had a great time and will attend the next event.
