Do yourself a favor and go see this band. Best value for a danceable and improvisational music experience out there.
The room bouncing all night, that is the sign of a hot show. Great crowd, well run venue. Cant wait for Spafford to return.
Spafford is the best. Beer was $13+ which is ridiculous.
Spafford has appeared in my Spotify playlists from time to time. I thought it was unusual for the Tally Ho to have them at their venue, as they are not the typical artists that I see in their bookings. So we were thrilled that Spafford was coming to the venue. And they didn't disappoint. Friday evenings concert was awesome. Kudo's to the group and to the Tally Ho for booking them
Show was good as far as the jams, but the light show was lacking big time.
WOW what a show the band was amazing and the venue is 1st class! Thanks for a great evening
Madison Live was packed, literally shoulder-to-shoulder and belly-to-back. Concerts are no fun if you can't see and you can't move. Wasted my ticket dollars. I stayed to finish one beer and left well before Spafford ever took the stage. As I walked out a fire engine had pulled up in front of the venue. Possibly visiting due to a violation of Fire Marshal capacity regulations ... maybe? In any case, I attend a lot of shows at a variety of different venues, but I won't be returning to Madison Live until they adopt a reasonable capacity limit.
Spafford brought the jams all night. This is a talented group of guys that know how to put on a show for the crowd. They are at the top of their game.
Exceptional show from Spafford, they never disappoint and with the new keyboard player, they are on a new level! The 930 Club was not overly packed for once and was nice to have some space inside. The 930 staff was great as always! Note to Bands/Managers/Promoters - DC music scene is the absolute worst, too many people there not for the music, excessive talking throughout the entire show. Living in Baltimore, I pass on 95% of DC shows and would rather drive the extra distance to Philly or Harrisburg.
