South Pacific Tickets

The performance was wonderful! The acting & voices were fantastic! The auditorium at the Peabody in Daytona Beach was a little stuffy. A little A/C would have been nice.

The theater should invest in better mics. We missed so many lines especially the Frenchman, the main sailor, and the little Asian lady. Articulation wasn’t great but most speaking lines were lost. We were in row R. Singing was wonderful, great voices!

It was a wonderful performance, in a marvelous venue. The only concern I had was that by the time the doors were open, the lobby had reached jam-packed condition- a super spreader event if anyone had symptoms! Perhaps you can figure out a way to correct that happening again: keep outside doors closed longer and/or open the doors into the seating area earlier.

This event was held at the Peabody in Daytona. We were allowed in the lobby at arrival, tickets checked at the door. They just kept allowing people in the lobby and it became packed. The auditorium doors were shut until after 7:00 for a 7:30 performance. It was very dangerous as people were pushing and shoving their way ahead. It was a sold out audience trying to get into a very small lobby area. It was definitely against fire regulations, and terrifying because we were shoved inward towards the front of the lobby and back in a corner where we were told the steps were. People were not allowed up the steps, either. Makes we wonder who was in charge of this situation. I have never attended a venue where I was not allowed to go to my seat until such a late time. We had to go somewhat early to get a parking place that I could walk from, handicapped spots are inadequate. That’s not my main beef, though.

I loved the production. It was the best one yet at the Peabody. The character Emile had the best voice and acting ability. The whole cast was terrific and the scenery was outstanding.

This play was exceptional and a delight to see! The actor's singing voices were superb!!

Excellent - Please reconsider the following - OPEN both entrances from Main Street and Auditorium Streets and make sure there is an exit and entrance on both streets. We have been waved away because we are told there is no more parking and there are spots available. Not having two entrance and exits is a hazard to those attending. Other wise performance and selections are great

Wow - what a lovely and yes, enchanted evening! Everything was beautiful and simply top notch! The cast was so talented - what extraordinary voices! Everyone from the leads to the Seabees and Nurses were accomplished, talented professionals. The story remains timeless and shows that people have always struggled with acceptance. I am still humming the songs today :-)

Wonderful experience Very exciting performance by all especially characters Nellie and Emile…I could have sat there all night just listening to their singing… Everyone’s singing was excellent… Seats were not the best provided a slightly obscured view. Was glad for the intermission to be able to stand and stretch..Susie E..

Nothing like a live experience! The music was mesmerizing! And the story timeless!
