Sonfest Tickets

The music was truly amazing this year. The artists were awesome considering the scorching heat they had to perform in. I will definitely go again.

All of it was GREAT ! I Loved the Ministry of Tenth Avenue North , The high energy of Family Force Five was out of this world . The Newsboys were Wonderful ! I can't imagine a better replacement for Peter Furler than Michael Tait . He is a Newsboy ! And their awesome Ministry will continue . And the Youth Minister Matt , was inspiring .

Sonfest was amazing! Loved it!! Carowinds was a great place and their amphitheater setup is really nice!! I like how refreshments, restrooms, and concert merch is all together! Hope to go back from an event someday!

Artist subject to change never meant so much. We bought tix expecting TobyMac, thanks to the emailed got with the ticket link. Error or change, I don't know. We love Family Force Five and 10th Avenue North is good - but we have seen them both recently. We saw Newsboys a few months ago and were not thrilled with the new sound. Michael is a great singer, but not redoing classic songs from Newsboys. I wish we never bought the tickets.

The new Newsboys are really good together. The merger of Michael Tait and Jeff, Jody and Duncan from the core Newsboys could have gone in several directions, but it is so refreshing to see them come together in one spirit and mind. We could have done without Family Force 5 and missed Remedy Drive and more so Fee, but 10th Avenue North and Manic Drive are genuine ministries. All was worth the wait having the Newsboys lead us in worship. Very nicely done, I can't wait for the release of the new album!!!

Sonfest was an incredible concert. Well done to all the bands. Newsboys second stage was great. We were 3 ft from the band that made it unforgettable. Keep putting together great bands like this.

The Christian music was good but Carowinds should try to have Sonfest earlier than June so that is won't be too hot. It was unbearable at times and even the bands commented on their Twitter updates how hot it was. There were a lot of empty seats that I'm sure were pre-purchased but the buyers didn't show because of the heat. Great show but needs to be in April or May because of the weather and to avoid graduations. A lot of the church groups' high school graduates were gone to the beach so they missed the show.

I only was able to attend a couple of the concerts (10th Ave N & Newsboys). The venue was awesome. Some of the music was a bit loud, so I sat in the very back. Other than that, it was pretty sweet!

I would go to see the Newsboys anywhere in our area because they are outstanding! The testamony given by the lead singer, who use to be with DC Talk was super, he is very animated holds the worshiper's attention and sounds great. We saw them at Winter Jam 2009 also and they were great there also. Recommended to anyone!

Tenth Avenue North was great! But it was too hot and there were bands I didn't want to see and the schedule was too spread out. We couldn't even stay for Newsboys because we were too tired. Family Force 5 is not the same type of music as Tenth Avenue North and Newsboys. The band styles should be more similar.
