I was not disappointed, came with a friend who is rather particular, he summed it up well, 'that band it f*cking amazing. The harmonies are the best I've ever heard, truly amazing.

Small crowd, but a good time was had by all. Great performance.

What a great show and what awesome presence. Charles and Rebecca were amazing live, constantly switching up instruments and having a lot of fun with the crowd. They played a lot of stuff from the latest album but also a good assortment from Paradise and Yeah So. I can't wait to see them again!

Absolutely amazing! Margaret Glaspy was a discovery - hailing from Cali via Brooklyn this was a hometown gig for her. Lovely Hendrix-esque guitar playing with haunting vocals to match. I'm a big fan of Nick Mulvey and Slow Club anyway, and both were brilliant in their ways. Nick Mulvey was solo with acoustic guitar - the sounds he managed to generate using his voice and chosen instrument was astonishing. Slow Club rocked the house - Rebecca is such a hottie and she charmed us all swapping drums for guitar and vocals all night.

Slow Club is my favorite band. Their Singles, Ep's and "Yeah So" have been all been ingrained into my memory from such constant play. I saw them over a year ago in Brooklyn at Club Europa and couldn't have asked for a better experience. Both Charles and Rebecca where exactly how I envisioned them, two amazing singers taking their show on the road, multi-tasking amazing lyrics with precision instrumentals. This is why I couldn't have been more excited to see them upon the release of Paradise. I was in for a surprise... Charles was exactly how I remembered him. He played as he did over a year ago, with a true passion for his music. Rebecca, along with two new members????, played as if they wanted a pay check. Four songs before the show ended we began to be reminded that the show will end soon and an updated countdown followed each number. These three members just didn't seem into the show or the music they were playing. The whole energy and vibe of the show was deteriorated and made for an awkward evening. Also, I know Paradise just came out and this tour is to promote it, but please, play more than one song from the old catalog. People want to sing and dance and this show just didn't provide that atmosphere. Like My Chemical Romance sang "It's like watching your hero sell a car on TV". My reality was shattered and hopefully, at a future concert, the amazing duet who one me over with "Wild Blue Milk" and "It doesn't have to be beautiful" will once again preform. Thanks for reading.
