Sligo Creek Stompers Tickets

These kids are passionate musicians first of all. Secondly, they seem to love what they do. Concerts by musicians like them are so much more fun than just sitting back & watching them play. They connect with their audience. Their music is old-timey yet fresh & new. This is the second time I attended a Sligo Creek Stompers concert & will see them again at the next available date. Some of the band members also performed under the name The Bumper Jacksons & that was delightful too. Go see them!

They pulled together a range of different folk traditions, and with their amazing versatility on vocals and instruments, were able to create an amazing folk mix. Really terrific!

I hesitantly took my boyfriend to this show as part of a gift. I had never heard of the band before and was not really sure what to expect. We were blown away. The show was fantastic. It was lively and highly entertaining, not to mention the quality of the music was out of this world. I live 2 hours out of DC, but we plan on going to see them again in Greenbelt in a few weeks because they are so good.

Fun Fun Fun concert! These young musicians not only played like the dickens but they all had personalty to spare. I loved their musical style. The washboard was a definite fav. I hope they climb the ladder to great success because they're so talented & delightful!
