The show was absolutely amazing, but lacked any publicity. I live about 150 miles (about 3 hours driving) from where the show took place and though my three absolute favorite skaters (Johnny Weir, Jeremy Abbott, and Ryan Bradley) were there I heard nothing of the show until two days before when Weir, Abbott, and Bradley started to 'tweet' about being in Ohio for a show.
That said, I'm glad I caught the tweets because the 3 hour drive was well worth it!
Johnny Weir did Lady GaGa's 'Bad Romance' and his original 'Heart Broken' two programs that balance each other so well (Bad Romance is dirty sexy fun and HeartBroken is soft and pretty).
Ryan Bradley did a Willy Wonka routine and preformed with Straight No Chaser (Michael Jackson medley) His back flips and easy charm make him an instant crowd pleaser.
Jeremy Abbott skated to SNC as well and then did his new competitive program. His new competitive stole the show - it was amazing, its going to be a monster this season.
Caydee Denney & Jeremy Barrett had lovely programs as did Joannie Rochette and Rachael Flatt (who showed her playful side in a new program). Sasha Cohen (who can come across icy in competition) had playful, fun programs.
Tanith Belbin & Ben Agosto skates told stories and were very lovely - you defiantly can't tell that they learned these 2000 miles apart.
If this is in the same area next year, I'll be back!
