Sioux Empire On Tap Tickets

I've gone every year it's been held since 2018. Seems like this year was smaller than the last several years. Way fewer brewers and most of the booths were just manned by people off the street. If you can't bring in the actual brewers or at least people who can talk about the beer it's less and less worth paying for. Step up your game.

I was bummed that there wasn't more done with the vendors or lack of vendors from the actual breweries. The breweries that were actually there were great. I like to talk about the beers and breweries. Curious as to why there was nothing handed out and take home to even remember what was all tried and where to find the beer. Using my marketing brain here. Unless there was something I completely missed. It felt like it was a "wam bam thank you ma'am"event. I was surprised there wasn't a bigger variety of types of beers. You were screwed if you didn't love IPAs. I also noticed that a lot of local breweries were not present... not even their beer. Which doesn't sit right with me. I felt there was lack of information given when purchasing the VIP ticket. We didn't realize it was only for the first hour. I was with some pretty intelligent people and none of us picked up on those details, therefor we showed up "late"and didn't enjoy the so called "benefits". Two extra tastes and skipped the line. Anyways, I would rather brewery hop and will not attend the next event that they put on.

A bit disappointing this year. Compared to the last 5+ years I have attended this event, the vendor participation was down. In addition, the bag we were supposed to receive as part of our VIP package that we paid for…. We had to go back and ask about it after we were welcomed in at noon and the vendor ran out of bags within the first 30-45 minutes, so a fair amount of people missed out on it and were just offered a pack of Pringles.

The event has been going down hill the past couple years. The beer selection wasn't as good as in the past. VIP tickets were mostly worthless other than the extra hour. No swag, the VIP area was a joke... Probably most disappointing was that so many booths didn't have signage so you didn't know who they were unless you went up and read the cans. Probably won't go back next year.

I expected more of a beer variety. It was a lot of IPA and fruity beers. Very few lagers and stouts. Very limited unless you like fruit or seltzer. Don’t think we will go back Only 1 food vendor and they were very expensive

This was my 8th time attending the beer tasting event. The beer was good (too many IPAs for me though) but the venue seemed emptier than prior years. Was this for crowd control or are vendors not coming to the event anymore? It was disappointing to see some local craft breweries without a local beertender serving (used volunteers instead) and so many cans instead of taps. I'm sure I'll go next year but hopefully there will be more local breweries represented.

It was a good time, but WAY too many general tkts were sold. Too crowded, shoulder to shoulder in many areas, long waiting lines. Yes, I know I can buy a VIP tkt, but it was a mess! I've gone 5 yrs in a row, something changed on the # allowed in.

This year was my first time attending Sioux Empire On Tap and I honestly didn’t feel that it was worth the money. I purchased a VIP ticket and the only thing it was good for was the early entry to beat the large crowd. The VIP area was lacking. There were not nearly enough chairs or tables for the space provided and we did not receive the food voucher that was advertised. Overall, I felt the experience was overpriced and underwhelming.

Very unorganized. No flow. Alot of people in a little space. Long lines. Great vendors. Great beer! I had a lot of fun.

Great way to sample all different flavors of craft beers all under one roof! Amazing varieties for everyone.
