Siobhan Magnus Tickets

One thing about Siobhan: you never know what you're going to get, but you know it's going to be great. Better still, we get to watch an extraordinarily talented young artist grow and mature before our eyes. At last year's Melody Tent concert, we saw her going in all different directions, performing with three very different bands. She was cashing in her AI equity as a solo artist while still trying to help her high school band, and if that wasn't enough, also performing as one of many in her uncle's fantastic classic rock tribute band (Ultrasonic Rock Orchestra). Since her debut album (Moonbaby) was still in the making, she relied heavily on tried and true crowd pleasing covers from AI and elsewhere, along with previews of tracks to be in the album. At this year's concert, we see an artist focused on establishing her own sound and persona. She barely mentioned AI, and performed zero covers from that show, even though they would have certainly brought down the house. She only performed with her own band, doing all ten original songs from Moonbaby along with a bunch of great covers we've never heard from her before. If you love her versatility, never fear -- it's clear that she's not going to narrow her scope as she develops her sound. She did everyting from melodic acoustic numbers to hard rockin' covers of Kiss and Zeppelin songs, and she did them all like they were second nature to her. It's also clear that she's not going to stand still. She put a new spin on all of her Moonbaby numbers, sometimes quite different from the album. Siobhan is the real deal. Don't pass up a chance to see her perform live.

Siobhan has a huge range and she can sing anything! Her passion and love of performing made the evening a treasure. I have become a huge fan.

could'nt understand a thing she was singing. Instruments were to loud for her voice.

Loved Siobans's voice but she was overwhelmed by her band most of the time. She is refreshingly her own person!

Siobhan was in fine voice, and her band was terrific, but I gotta say the sound system stunk. It was a small audience, and we were off to the side, but in the third row, and it was hard to discern the vocals at times. Have been to several concerts at Cape Cod Melody Tent, and haven't experienced the poor sound quality before. Disappointing. However, what we heard we enjoyed thoroughly. We followed (and voted for) Siobhan during her "Idol" run, and have a place on the Cape, so her performing during our vacation week was kismet. Look forward to getting her new album, "Moonbaby".

Siobhan looked beautiful as usual. Her debut album is a treasure. Each song tells a story that everyone can relate. She is inspiring. Black Doll is the perfect hit single. Let's go radio stations! The band is excellent.....very clean and crisp sound. Siobhan needs to do more concerts and be seen by everyone. They are missing out on an exceptional talent. I can't wait for more.

Siobhan always puts on a great show and Thursday night at the Melody Tent was no exception. Her vocals were flawless. The band was tight. Major kudos to lead guitarist Ben Flanders. She sang the originals from her album. Pure Inspiration, Little Blue Pill, Eulogy, and Big Collapse particularly stood out. But all were outstanding. Mix in some covers from Pink, Led Zeppelin, alanis morissette, and David Bowie and you have one heck of a show. She has such a strong stage presence you can't take your eyes off her. She's a star! Definitely worth the money.

she was awesome, but, i think the music was way to loud so you couldn't hear her words all that much...don't know if it was because it was half staged and the music couldn't expand out. but, she was great!
