    SHIRLEY ALSTON REEVES

    by Soldier Boy on 11/14/19

Shirley Alston Reeves, OMG, still sounds the same as on all her hit SHIRELLES Records. Her and Her Girls have so much energy you cant help but dance in your seats. I am a fan of DO Wop and the oldie circuit. Shirley Alston Reeves is the queen of Medleys and boy can she still dance. DO not miss Shirley Alston Reeves when she is on a show !!!!!

Excellent show. The show ran almost 3 hours. Would attend shows like this more often @ the PAC.

    Shirley Alston Reeves was phenomenal!

by Vanv on 9/14/15Bergen Performing Arts Center - Englewood

Show was great - sound lousy - too shrill with Lala Brookes, got better with others. Shirley Alston Reeves is a true professional - captivated the stage, great songs, great medley at the end of the show too.

    Shirley Rocks The House!

by Mossbach on 3/2/13Century Village Auditorium - Boca Raton

Was fortunate to get tickets to see Shirley Alston Reeves last Saturday night. Originally purchased tickets to see Lesley Gore but she cancelled out and was replaced by SAR. No disappointment here. It was a great show full of old time rock and roll. Shirley's voice has stood the test of time and so has her energy level. She did all of the Shirelles hits as well as a selection of Motown chart busters. Shirley Rocks!

We found the show to be extremely enjoyable. We would go and see it again next year. All of the acts were much better than expected.

Advertised as a Holiday Celebration. Bought tickets for my husband and I to get us in the Christmas spirit.. There were a total of THREE christmas songs sung bye the three groups. I realize you need to advertise so I was okay with promo's from the stage. I did the band was thanked too many times. They were being paid?? I counted 8 times, a little excessive

This year the venue was a smaller theater. The show felt more "comfortable". After fighting traffic and parking, we arrived as Shirley Alston Reeves and her Shirelles were getting started. They were incredible, as were the other groups. We always look forward to this show each year. This year, as a real super feature, during the intermission, there was a Doo Wop group on a balcony over the lobby, singing great songs. What a neat treat. (I believe that the group was arranged by the promoters.)

Best of doo wop was the best

by OCMomma on 6/16/12Meyerhoff Symphony Hall - Baltimore

Thoroughly enjoyed the show, such a walk down memory lane! It was so good to hear all those songs I grew up listening to and singing along with them again. It was great to see tthe original artists. This was my first doo wop concert and I would definitely go again!
